NY Dem Stronghold Mount Vernon Padded Voter Rolls With Dead People, Locals Born In The 19th Century: bombshell lawsuit

The voter rolls in the heavily Democratic city of Mount Vernon are so shady that they include dead residents and locals who were born as early as 1897, a scathing new lawsuit claims.

In just over a year, the number of voters in the small Westchester County city spiked by 30%, with the increase heavily favoring the Democratic majority, City Council candidate Bill Schwartz alleged in the shocking complaint filed against county election officials last week.

you posted a meme of Mamdani in the meme thread. was the quote in that tweet the whole tweet? Was it all that he said in response to a question. I reads as an impartial response so I am not getting the 'meme' of it.

Because you said prisons make us safer. Nonviolent crimes don’t harm you. Didn’t think that would be hard to comprehend

Murder makes up a very small % of violent crimes, less than 5%. You still haven’t answered the question
You need to start from the top ya dork. I said exactly that. You included non-violent numbers with the violent which didn't directly reflect your question. Try again.

How old are you?
You clearly were not watching in the other thread. He and I were not in agreement but he will answer any question I ask about why he believes what he believes.
Most here won’t do that. Including you.
Because most have a side instead of a belief system
This is the most irrelevant response to anything ever. Your b hasn't said anything. Perhaps you should part with your belief system. It clouds your judgement with others.

The nachos quote? It's a reference to a joke in I Think You Should Leave. He didn't really say it.

You must be slow so I’ll explain it again maybe this time you’ll understand (doubt it) you said prisons make us safer so I posted how even though we house by far the most prisoners our violent crime rate doesn’t reflect that. I didn’t include non violent crimes because they don’t harm you or make you “less safe”. If you’re arguing we house too many non violent prisoners, I agree (not sure how that makes us more safe)

It’s tough to know the exact violent offender incarcerated because it’s reported differently but the US has roughly 650k to 700k in prison for violent crimes, that would rank 3rd in the world for total prison population. Do ya finally wanna answer the question? Or just keep acting like a jackass

All you have to do it pull your head out of your but and start at your stupid question from the beginning. But you're stupid, so that's a problem for you.

More criminals behind bars results in a safer populace. I truly don't understand how anyone could question that in earnest. If you think that the violent crime rate is bad now, think about how much worse it would be without prisons.

I do think getting criminals “off the street” makes society safer at least in theory. However I don’t think our current system prioritizes our safety nor does it rehabilitate and make the person less violent when they’re back on the streets. 65% of violent prisoners are repeat offenders. We clearly have a problem I don’t think anyone can deny that, so what’s the solution?
