While that may be true, it's not something that could ever be proven. And we don't know how long we've been either 'domesticated' or making bread. I tend to ignore the dates Academics give for things like that. They are almost always guessing. It's just impossible to date something like that because of how far back in antiquity it goes.

Hesiod and Rousseau are not academics. Nor do they give dates. They are in an entirely different category from the others. The date is not the important thing.

We’ve been here before..no sweat! All jokes aside they got it completely wrong last year but i think it has some truth to it this year..so definitely set the expectations low and you won’t be disappointed

I never set my expectations based on what media days or other folks predict. I think the conference is wide open. And media day poll is hardly something to bank on. But it will be settled on the field. I have noticed every year they try to hype South Carolina,Florida and LSU early and often. They always seem to get the sec media love no matter how bad they were the year before. GBO

Per our usual recruiting flubs at the end, for whatever reason, we won't get either Keys or Hiter... will believe it when I see it for us to even get 1 of the two... everyone knows at this point, NIL is the ultimate driver, and we won't pay... Ya'll keep going back and forth though, if it gets you through the day.

Everyone is paying approximately the same on NIL. Recruiting has come full circle, and once again, comes down to having great recruiters. Which is why I try not to get my hopes up for any big time commit on the offensive side outside of quarterback.
