It's been mentioned before but I don't think he necessarily needs to be defensive about being incriminated. Even if only for the sake of argument let's say it's 100% fact not only is he not in there but there is no great revelation about him or anyone of special note incriminated in The File. That still puts Trump on the defensive at this point like I cited here in a previous post. Before that DOJ memo, I didn't think Trump was in any way incriminated by the Epstein investigations. At least not until he became so defensive after the subsequent backlash from Republicans and MAGA.
I honestly didn't care about any of this until Trump started calling it the "Epstein hoax," and made the claim that Obama, Comey and the Biden administration had "made up" things in the Epstein files.
Say what you want, but Trump is acting in a suspicious manner, and that has propelled this story.
"In either case of the above the Trump campaign is rather taking it in the keister since such a big deal was made that such evidence was available and it was going to be Trump et al to set the truth free. Even if they 100% believed that was what was going to happen the sheer magnitude of the oversell is Al Capone's Vault x million. Bias will have opinions all over place but there's only so much luster, regardless of elbow grease applied, to polish that chunk of feces."
He could be absolutely 100% innocent in The File but this "There's nothing to see here." just plain looks bad and let's face it...that dude does not handle looking bad well.
