The military said the incident began after Palestinians hurled stones at Israelis near Sinjil, lightly injuring two civilians.

Or in simple terms: it were the "Palestinians" who instigated the violence. The settlers reacted to it.

"Palestinians" and activists came to REMOVE a Jewish settlement, not "protest" it. They came to them, not the other way around, and were met with resistance and it lead to another violent clash.

2/2 of these cases, instigated by the "Palestinians"

And as a reminder, yes, even these violent clashes are a drop in the bucket compared to "Palestinian" terrorists who are overwhelmingly the instigators of violence in the vast majority of cases, and it's not even close.

The Palestinians and Irish have both had to endure settler colonialists. The Irish have a better idea than most of the Palestinians' situation.

Saw an article discussing Hamas shift to “guerrilla warfare” tactics. I only imagine that will lead to killing of more innocents in Gaza, as IDF combats even more militants blending into the population at large.

Sadly, there are those here who will hold Hamas blameless for those deaths also.

Hamas is evil.

while the IRA killed more than the loyalists and the brits, the loyalists targeted civilians at the highest rate, followed by the british forces

that said, there is an antisemitism problem in Ireland, and it goes back to wwii

You can assign whatever blame you want…..Israel taking advantage of……Arabs emboldened…..but the fact remains that the violence dramatically increases with 10/07.
