You gave me examples of an alien attack and Pearl Harbor.

1. We had greater military capability than Japan. So we went to war.

2. If aliens attacked we probably just die.

3. We have significantly greater military capabilities than Iran, therefore no war. They shot a few rockets and immediately said they’re done and intend on doing nothing else. So why are you attempting to falsely claim we are at war with Iran?

this makes no sense. history is littered with wars between unequal powers. heck most wars are probably just that. I doubt the difference between us and iran is any different than us and iraq.

the Anglo Zanzibar war lasted like 40 minutes, only had one brit get wounded, while Zanzibar took a pounding.

open conflict between nations is war. there is no litmus test on relative strengths, formal declarations, duration, or even relative casualties.

there was one war where one of the nations fighting it came back with more soldiers than they sent. there have been wars that weren't formally ended until hundreds of years after any conflict stopped. you are bending over backwards, and ignoring literally thousands of years of history just to maintain the sham of "no new wars" for Trump.

Trump campaigned on keeping us out of anything and bringing ends to wars and peace, and here we are six months in and he's inarguably made things worse on that front. There's literally no argument otherwise.
