We just put 3 pieces of aluminum foil on the antenna wire and moved them up and down to get stuff. The original pirate bay?Yup! And had to purchase a special VHF antennae to pick up a fourth channel.
Of course, back then, no one had a gay channel.

Believe me--there are worse things for your brain than having missed "the vast wasteland" that was TV in the early '60s!

I wonder if "Whoa, Nellie-belle!" is where the old sports announcer Keith Jackson got his “Whoa, Nellie!” exclamation. No idea as to its source, or any of the others.
