IDK if you have your own family, but I feel like I owe my family 1000x more than what I owe my national community, so if I'm faced with the option of immigrating from a "sh**hole" to the land of opportunity, I'm going to do what's best for my family. That's why my people did it nearly a couple of hundred years ago. That's why people do it today. Same ****, different century. The arguments from the xenophobes haven't changed, either. Imagine if their politics had won out and we never became the melting pot?

To be fair, you cant predict 36-48 hours in advance the exact area where storms may train over and over. You can highlight a general areal flooding setup where storms will be entering into with high PWAT values and limited steering.

Them missing 3-6 areawide vs 14 inches in specific location isnt really a miss. Them failing to communicate (until 12 hours or so prior) an areal flooding setup is the miss here. If everywhere got 14 inches, then sure, its a miss. But many areas 20-40 miles away got a fraction of that 14 inches of rainfall...

Fine ..... just be consistent about it, and don't start crying when Donald Trump gets attacked and directly blamed for the natural disasters which occur while he is in office. You can't have it both ways. If it's wrong for one party to politicize a natural disaster? Then it is wrong for both to do it.
