That narrative is prob overblown (and is according to recruits).

DeBoer was always gonna have success at Bama. Proven winner. Great hire. But he won’t have an equal amount of success as Saban.

Hard to follow a coaching legend, especially at a school with fans who’ve become spoiled with success. DeBoer will probably move on in a few seasons.
