It hasn’t been announced because it’s not official yet. There is still a decent possibility that Nike makes a competitive counter offer. I would still predict we will switch to Adidas, but it’s far from a certainty. Still a few weeks away from an announcement.

It doesn’t start until next July regardless, so there wouldn’t be an impact on recruiting at this point anyway.

Just saw the big wind brewing off the SC coast. I've been through a hurricane in South Carolina and they are outright dangerous in uprooting swamp matter and hurling it. To our SC chicken fans and cluckin' posters, be as careful as you can. Seriously. On a funnier note....your average chicken can set records for distance traveled during a hurricane (comparing roosters to roosters) of course.

Thanks for being patient with posters LV4E and CP. The apparel deal negotiations for the new contract with Tennessee is huge for both companies and if they want arguably the best overall athletic program in the SEC and NCAA to represent their brand this deal must be a really good one.
As for the year away, I think most understood that it wasn’t going into effect immediately.

You seem to be very uninformed or just trolling because you are so mad that Dawn is "the" coach that rules the SEC. SEC regular season champions: 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 SEC tournament championships : 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2023, 2024, 2025. It’s not the end of the world just because I don’t think she is a great coach. You chickens come out clucking crap when anyone says something about Dawn. Deal with it…….or not. I could care less. If you don't like her.... fine... the facts remain that she is a very good coach. She gets the best players now, but she worked her butt off to get our program from an afterthought to a national brand. She took the attendance from a few hundred's to leading the nation in attendance for the last 10 years. You can't recruit at that level or build your program to that level unless you are a good coach. I give any coach kudos for that. I don't have to like them to know they are good. My list of those coaches is long. I don't like them....but damn they can coach. The recruiting follows. And.. This is not your teams forum statement is also you lying to yourself. This forum has a "non Lady Vol's" thread that indicates it was built for all WBB fans. I have always been respectful here. You should try it.

The answer depends on whom you ask. According to most grammarians, this expression is logical and correct only with couldn’t. If a person says, “I couldn’t care less” about something, it means that the amount of care and concern they have about something could not be any less, any lower. This makes sense. Therefore when someone says I could care less, it should mean the opposite, that they are concerned.

Ask a “grammarian” what a colloquial idiom means? Hah! I suppose you ask a proctologist to diagnose a sore throat. What does, according to your most beloved grammarian, “hanging around” mean? It's grammatically faulty, but the significance is clear to any native speaker of Americn English.

I remember teaching a college class that had a few foreign students. One day we decided to share a meal at a local luncheonette just off campus. As we were entering the eatery, one of the international crew stopped, staring at the glass door, where a common sign was posted.
It wasn't especially logical or correct, but was immediately understood with perfect clarity by the native English speakers. It perplexed the foreign student, as she tried to imagine the culinary absence of body parts:

I know it's hard being a chicken fan and a clown but your killing it. Congratulations. BTW, You talk about respect but yet don't give any. You come to this forum and blast anyone who says anything you disagree with. That's what y'all chicken fans call respect? If you want me to continue expressing my opinion about Staley, keep giving me the opportunity by trolling Lady Vol fans. Please point out the multiple threads and the non-chicken fans I've engaged with about Staley. What facts did I distort and how? The majority of things I post could be considered positive if one is a Lady Vol fan but then, that wouldn't support your accusations. Time to sit down and stop clucking if you can't tell the truth.
