I like the Dweezil Zappa interview when EVH was teaching him as a kid.

I have been playing a long time and past 2 years learned so much music theory just with online videos and websites..didnt have that growing up.

When you look at a guitar, there are only 12 notes of Western based music and 7 in any particlar key..so any song that doesnt modulate keys only has 7 notes..the do ray me stuff..kinda amazing so few.

Yea I’m hanging in there. I haven’t updated in awhile but I had my last scan on 6/6 and saw the doctor on 6/9. Everything is looking pretty good. I’ve been on the current treatment for a little over a year although we dropped one drug around February due to some side effects. Was getting weak with some muscle atrophy and neuropathy. It’s gotten a little better since we dropped that one drug but it’s still there some and I’m still getting infusions every 3 weeks. During the visit he said after speaking with my other oncologist we were going to skip the stem cell transplant we had planned for now and do another scan in October. Also we’ll keep doing infusions at least another year. I appreciate all the prayers. I have prayed for all you guys as well who have prayed for me and all those dealing with their own hardships.

I really liked his interview with Dave Gilmour. Was a huge Pink Floyd fan growing up. Didnt even use drugs or alcohol back then either. Was too young. Rick didnt ask a single question about PF....he asked about everything else. He is so cool man. Wish I was half as cool as Rick Beato. Even a quarter. 😆

The Skunk Baxter was good as well..I gained a lot of respect for him..I didnt even know he soloed Reelin in Years with Steely Dan.

I had made a pretty extensive post awhile back in another thread but I haven’t updated in quite some time. I just saw Persian’s post and it was eerily similar to what I went through. I appreciate you asking and I don’t mind talking about it. Sadly it affects almost everyone at some point in some way. I also saw Ritz was having some issues and I’ll be thinking of him as well.

I never thought I'd get to see them live, and by all accounts the reunion shows have been fantastic.

Not surprising. I've followed all of Dax's work over the years and his voice is aging like wine. One thing that has me super stoked is that the Dead Girl rendition they're doing is the Agents of Oblivion redux, which drips with that Muscle Shoals soul.
