Trump Forcing States to End Tuition Giveaways to Illegal Migrants

The Trump administration is suing Dem. Gov. Tim Walz’s Minnesota to block tuition giveaways to illegal migrants, after it filed similar cases in Texas and Kentucky.

The administration first took the Lone Star State to court for its reduced tuition to illegals, but the state dropped the scheme before even setting foot in court to face the federal lawsuit.

Next, the Department of Justice sued Kentucky over its migrant tuition policy. The DOJ claimed that Kentucky’s Dem. Gov., Andy Beshear, is unconstitutionally discriminating against American students who are not offered the same reduced in-state tuition that illegal aliens are offered. The DOJ added that the reduced tuition policy is a violation of federal law.

Now, Minnesota is in the DOJ’s crosshairs for its tuition scheme with a lawsuit taking Dem. Gov. Tim Walz and the state legislature to task, Fox News reports.

“No state can be allowed to treat Americans like second-class citizens in their own country by offering financial benefits to illegal aliens,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said, according to Fox News. “The Department of Justice just won on this exact issue in Texas, and we look forward to taking this fight to Minnesota in order to protect the rights of American citizens first.”

John Thune Says He Will Not Overrule Parliamentarian Who Rejected Medicaid Provisions in ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’

Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) said “No” Thursday when asked if he would overrule Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough, who rejected key Medicaid provisions in the so-called “Big, Beautiful Bill.”

When reporters asked him about the matter, Thune said, “No. That would not be a good outcome for getting a bill done,” according to the Hill.

The outlet said MacDonough “rejected a plan that would cap states’ ability to collect more federal Medicaid funding via healthcare care provider taxes. The move would have collected hundreds of billions in savings, which Republicans were relying on.”

Several Republicans wanted the Senate to “sideline” MacDonough, prompting Thune’s response, according to Politico.

It is important to note Breitbart News reported on Thursday that, “The parliamentarian also struck down provisions that would bar the use of Medicaid funds for transgender healthcare services and to prevent illegal aliens from receiving Medicaid or CHIP healthcare coverage.”

Senate Parliamentarian Blocks Major Medicaid Changes in Big Beautiful Bill

The Senate parliamentarian on Thursday advised the Medicaid provider tax could not be included in the Big Beautiful Bill, which could upend how the bill could offset the Trump tax cuts.

Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough (pictured) ruled the Medicaid provider tax would require 60 votes in the Senate to be included in the Big Beautiful Bill. The Senate parliamentarian’s ruling complicates the offsets for enhancing and extending the Trump tax cuts.

The potential loss of the Medicaid provider tax would force Senate Republicans to find other potential spending cuts to pay for the Big Beautiful Bill. The parliamentarian also struck down provisions that would bar the use of Medicaid funds for transgender healthcare services and to prevent illegal aliens from receiving Medicaid or CHIP healthcare coverage.

Republicans remain frustrated with the Senate parliamentarian.

Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL) wrote on X:

How is it that an unelected swamp bureaucrat, who was appointed by Harry Reid over a decade ago, gets to decide what can and cannot go in President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill?

The Senate Parliamentarian is not elected. She is not accountable to the American people. Yet she holds veto power over legislation supported by millions of voters. It is time for our elected leaders to take back control.

I think we're good until a Biden, Walz or Harris is President. Then they'll know they're free to retaliate
I don't know about Walz and hope we never find out, but Biden was and Harris would be completely aligned with Netanyahu. He wants, they deliver.

We know for a fact that:
1. Fake Dossier was used against Trump
2. Spied on Trump
3. IRS targeted Conservatives
4. DOJ targeted Trump for Political reasons
5. Mainstream media lied and manipulated info against Trump and in favor of Dems.
6. Dems tried to force social media companies to censor conservative viewpoints
7. Attempted assassination
8. 2 impeachments

These are just things that we know. Is rigging an election really out of the question?
It's been almost five years. Where's the evidence?
