Idk if the base was “obliterated” or not but I do believe without question the US and Israel both believe it was destroyed or damaged to the point that it no longer needed to be bombed. I believe this based on the lack of military action against that target at this point. I believe after hearing Caine talk about the operation in great detail that it’s far more likely that the mission was successful than the narrative the media was trying to sell.

The media weren't "selling" it. They reported that initial intelligence said it might have had a lesser effect than Trump claimed when he said "obliterated."

Seems obvious the effect was significant and no one has claimed otherwise. The point is, it was not obliterated, which is what Trump claimed.

I personally think Trump and his team chose that word on purpose. And they were wrong to do so. And Trump can't stand that he is being questioned on it.

It's now got NOTHING to do with the actual effect. It's all about exposing Trump lying brag number 823,772,419,001. And the media should absolutely keep up the questions.

Among the highest per capita income
Largest economy
Most powerful military
Leads the world in IP creation
Medical system that is among the world’s best
Currency is the reserve currency for rest of the world
Higher ed system is still the world leader
In spite of flaws nobody does multiethnic culture better
Self sufficient in energy
Among the highest environmental standards
Language is the world standard for business and technology

I could go on and we may not be the best in every category, but no other country has the whole package like the US. People (including a former president) grouse all the time about how we are nothing special. It is IMHO ungrateful and objectively false.

The initial report wasn’t that exactly though was it? The initial report was they couldn’t know exactly how much damage was done. It said it “could have a lesser effect”. How much KE do you believe the average 30000 lb bomb has? Where does that KE go if a bomb denotes deep inside a vent shaft?

Yeah I’m sure Trump was really shocked that CNN is questioning him on anything.

Just finished a trip with a former B2 guy. Retired out of military 2020. He says we did extensive damage to their nuclear program, much more than just setting them back a few months. Here’s a good briefing on those operations. SIAP

Knocked it back by a few months. I haven't seen it. But that's the report. And Trump administration admitted its existence.
