My reading comprehension seems to be better than your ability to communicate. You placed a comma afer a prefatory clause. The prefatory clause said you're tired of hearing about the guy...COMMA...frequently in the media. That sentence means you're tired of hearing about him (generally) and you frequently hear about him through the media (specifically).
That may not be what you meant, but it is what you said. So lose the snark. It looks ridiculous.
Regardless, it's weird to post about a guy you claim to be tired of hearing about through any medium. Even weirder to later backtrack as if the medium through which you hear about him matters. "I'm so tired of hearing about this guy on Basilio...but I'm cool hearing about him on Volnation." Right.
