Whenever your team signs a $700M player to a $2M/yr contract come talk to me. What the Dodgers have done is beyond the scope of salary cap or competitive balance. It’s 100x worse than what the Yankees did in the 90s/2000s. Could you imagine LeBron James making $1.5M/yr? Patrick Mahomes making $1.3M/yr? That’s exactly what the Dodgers have done.

Literally could not imagine rooting for a team whenever the entire deck is stacked into your favor. Have ALL that talent and only have the 3rd best record in the NL??? Like damn that’s flat out embarrassing. The METS and CUBS are better than you? Seriously??? If I had this generation’s Babe Ruth I think I would at least have the 2nd best record in my own league before I started talking

Past all that. MLB didn’t even put an asterisk on 2017. They knew the Astros weren’t the only ones. They warned Bosox and Yankees in 2016 about electronic devices. The Astros also lost AJ Hinch to the Tigers over the cheating… but it’s fine he goes to another team. They love him up there. I’m grateful Houston landed on their feet with Dusty, got him his ‘trophy in ‘22, then Espada.

I dunno... my immediate impression was that those were AI created images, not photos. Can't say that I've seen any pictures of Ms. Bullock in the past 10 years, but I don't know any women who've devoted their lives to raising children that "aged" in that direction.

I'm not sure where this ends, if even our fantasies get based on totally engineered, fake images. At least the old Playboy images were of flesh & blood women before they were airbrushed.

Maybe we should just cut to the chase, give a loud wolf whistle and exclaim, "Nice arrangement of pixels there!"

I'm becoming more suspicious about the "message" WNBA referees (and maybe even players) are getting from above. There's no question that these fouls and skirmishes have been gaining clicks and eyeballs for the league, but that puts refs in a vague position somewhere between WNBA and WWF.

On one thing there's no doubt: the league can put a stop to this whenever they choose to.
