Iran

Did he or did someone else edit the video to intentionally narrow the focus of her statement to exclude important context?

If so he made a conscious decision to take an insanely short clip and look no further into what was said.

If you watch small edited videos and just assume that’s all there is to the story, and then repeat the claim over and over as a central part of your argument without looking into the veracity of the claim itself….thats on you.

In a partisan world where people intentionally set out to mislead it's going to happen to us all.

I've seen the right do this just as often if not more. Hell I'm sure it's happened to you, damn sure happened to me before. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt.

If he were to admit he was wrong, sure. We’ve all posted something we thought was accurate that wasn’t.

I wouldn’t hold your breath

He asked Cruz basics and Teddy failed. A little knowledge of the subject is too much to ask from our reps who are leading us to war?
I am surprised the Cruz couldn't at least throw out a rough figure. When I watched the clip last night I thought to myself it was around 100 million before Tucker said the exact figure

BREAKING NEWS: Iranian Supreme Leader declares 'the battle begins' after Warning Israel about 'great surprise… that the World Will Remember For Centuries' as Trump weighs whether to order US strikes

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has sent out some eerie messages as US President Donald Trump continues to weigh his options on the ongoing war between the Iranian regime and Israel.

In an X post on Tuesday night, Khamenei shared a disturbing image showing balls of fire raining down on an ancient city.

'In the name of the noble Haidar, the battle begins,' he wrote in Farsi, referring to Ali - whom Shia Muslims consider the first Imam and the rightful successor to the prophet Mohammed.

Khamenei also shared a separate message in English, saying: 'We must give a strong response to the terrorist Zionist regime.

'We will show the Zionists no mercy,' he declared.

Meanwhile, Iranian state television ominously reported that 'tonight, a great surprise will occur - one that the world will remember for centuries.'

We're just going to glaze over how apparently everyone is now bought by Qatar now, of all countries?

PS: why is it OK to make unprovable claims about someone being "bought by Qatar" when we can provably claim that our politicians (and many in the media) receive heavy support from Israeli interests?

Because it's likely antisemitic or something.

I'm not that surprised but I'm guessing some staffer got an earful because they didn't prep him enough. These people aren't very smart they can just effectively repeat what they're told by the special interest providing the info (and money)

Remember the politician Ben and April worked for in Parks and Rec? They are all like that. Literally. Low-intelligence robots that repeat lines.

Israel largely exists due to the benevolence of the American government and taxpayers, yet if I take issue with the fact that my unwilling "investment" is being abused by their (literally on trial for) corrupt government I am an anti-semite. It's quite a leap.

That guy was born to be a Senator, and I don't mean that as a compliment.

The worst part is the best the democrats could come up with is a sheltered and stupid white Irishman cosplaying as a latino. America!
The Democrats are great at somehow being able to build name recognition through candidates who do basically nothing but lose elections (Beto and Stacy Abrams).

Tucker Carlson back in the day

Since getting cut from fox he’s talked about how he had terrible opinions on foreign policy. Most notably Apologized for his support of the Iraq war and said that was the biggest mistake of his career. You can also not want to go to war with Iran and still think their leadership is bad

Idk why we view it as a bad thing or a gotcha when someone changes their opinion from 20 years ago. It should be welcomed especially in politics
