A perfect game means your team committed zero errors in the field and you also did not allow a base runner. You are considered perfect if you retire all 27 outs in order with zero mistakes.HBP counts as a hit as far as a perfect game. But does not count as a hit with respect to a no hitter? Is that correct?
Thanks.A perfect game means your team committed zero errors in the field and you also did not allow a base runner. You are considered perfect if you retire all 27 outs in order with zero mistakes.
A no-hitter is exactly how it reads: pitcher allows zero hits through all 27 outs. So you can hit a batter, walk a batter, team commits an error, throw a wild pitch, passed ball, etc. The no-hitter is still intact as long as you do not allow a hit.
...in which case, I'd bet the "I'm never going to the beach again!" quote came from the squid.Thats a dead squid that washed up on the beach and got buried in the sand. Or, and this is very likely, they bought a squid at a market and buried it in the sand with just that little bit sticking out so they could make this video knowing exactly which angle to have the camera to show the beak.
