I could be wrong, but Bo Shafer, Jr., may be the last West grad to be recognized for gridiron success playing for the O&W. The only West grad from my years as a Rebel was Chuck Ramsey, a PK for the NYJets.

I can't say I've yet made my peace with the disco beat.

Certainly true, Steppenwolf-dance-pup. ;) But there's always a genre-buster in any medium.

Like, South Park may be simple, childlike animation, yet it makes serious points about adult issues. Gotta be a disco song that zigged when the hustle steps zagged.
