Additional "help" does not have to mean the freakin' Marine Corps. This is so ridiculous. They do not exist to enforce laws on American soil.

These are such surreal times we are in. This possibly serving as a precedent for future presidents to follow would concern me even more .... except that it's hard to imagine anyone but an egomaniacal loon like Trump pulling such a stunt.

It's not the federal governments role to stop local events. Sure they can protect federal property but they should be using federal law enforcement for that and not the military.
