He wasn't detained bc he wasn't a citizen. He was detained bc he was obstructing ICE. I did look it up and found out why he had been detained.

Where are you getting that he was obstructing them? You provide no evidence. You have been caught calling something "fake/misleading" without any knowledge to say that. You've pivoted to say it's misleading because he was detained for obstruction when I've provided reports that say he was detained because they didn't accept his real ID. He was videoing them, yes, but ICE is not allowed to detain citizens who video them.

My link you replied to mentioned this statement, so I'm aware of the DHS CYA. I don't believe ICE. Where's the video?

One reason why I don't believe the DHS spokersperson is she didn't directly deny the allegation that he was detained because they thought his real ID was fake. Her statement was an evasion of a definite answer.

And here's the part you really don't get...the most important aspect of that video is that they didn't believe the Real ID was real. Even if they are justified in detaining him, these guys who we are trusting with incredible power to disrupt the lives of people living here in this country based on the idea that they can tell who is a citizen using Real ID, cannot tell who is a citizen.

I agree with the Real ID part. Why are we even getting these if they will simply be ignored as to whether they are "authentic" or not.

One: I was talking about leftists around the country, not specific people on VN.

Two: Vaccination cards weren’t just about “travel privileges”. Many places required them just to enter a restaurant, gym, bar, or business. And in some states, it was required for continuing employment. Or don’t you remember those days? People were FIRED for not “showing their papers”. We will never let the left forget that, EVER

If you look like the suspect and don’t have ID to show you’re not the suspect….no. It’s not “the fault of the system”.

We shouldn’t have to check swab every suspect without an ID and then release them until the swab returns proving they are person x.
