I believe that there are 30 states that require proof of citizenship/residency, and the others (that allow illegals to get drivers licenses) have them marked as "Not For Federal Purposes".A national ID card, coded / colored differently for citizens, green card holders, and other legal residents, would pretty much solve that issue. But it would come with its own issues.
You're completely off the reservation. People are responsible for their actions. It isn't our crappy government. And those people have a protected right to protest. But that isn't good enough. They go too far by impeding traffic.
lighten up, Francis
I don't view the video as you suggest. That said, if protestors are blocking the street and have been told to disperse and refuse to do so there are only so many options and tear gas is probably the best option. As for the person "slammed to the ground" the video provides zero context for anything said person might have done to potentially merit a response.
We can muse about how we got here but here we are and simply ignoring illegal behavior doesn't solve anything.
We had a protest of our local Kelloggs manufacturing company for quite a while. No one stood in the street, lit cars on fire, stole Nikes, attacked cops with rocks. This was actually "peaceful"
These videos are all the same. Heavily edited and narrated by someone with an obvious bias.
He was obstructing the Ice officers from doing their job. He didn't follow their commands and was detained due to that reason.
Perhaps I misunderstand your motivation to post the social media you share here. The assumption on my end is that you post things with which you align. So when I pick apart your commentary wrt to a posted social media clip, it shouldn't be unexpected.Lol.
I didn't even make an argument about people blocking streets and I got 5 people screaming about it. I clarify that wasn't the point of the video and you come at me again with this.
