Recruiting Football Talk VIII

two biscuits on a white plate with a few spots on them
lol. You don’t look as good as she does at that age by eating garbage like biscuits.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but my nephew told me that he is going to the Tennessee-Arkansas series. We never ever win on the road when he attends the game/series. A few examples: South Carolina 2022, Florida two years ago, Arkansas last year. I feel like driving to Tennessee to knee cap him so he can’t go.
Obviously you didn’t kneecap your nephew.
Retaliatory kneecapping needs to commence. Please feel free to kneecap him now. After you have broken both of his kneecaps then break one of yours as a hard lesson for both of you.
If you didn’t procrastinate, then the Vols would be headed to Omaha.
😳

This is a just and righteous decision.
If we were being cruel, you would be banished to the FF for the remainder of your days. 🤔

Would have put a lot less pressure on Bargo too. The pressure seemed to be weighing on him the last half of the year.
I agree. He was moved when he was hot. The pressure caused him to revert to the old Dalton.

He competes too hard. He reverted back to doing what he did early on. He swings up on the ball and will not sit back. Clark does the same thing. When both were hot their swings were more level and they hit it where it was pitched - just trusted their strokes and barreled up. Both have enough power without trying so hard and it is perfectly OK to settle for a base hit. But they would not keep doing it. Both would dip their back shoulders and whiff because they opened up too quick.

Timing and geometry to go with forcing the action.

Both need to watch days of video of MLB hitters who do it right this offseason and hit the cages. Bad habits are hard to break and it will keep you out of pro ball if you do not fix it.

Audiobooks depends greatly upon the voice talent.

I recommend
zombie Fallout series
Dresden Files series
Iron Druid series
Mad Mick series
America Falls series (can get all in one omnibus)
Convergence series

All are excellent reads, but for me the voice actors really bring the books to life. If the voice is just reading then I pass by. There needs to be different voices and potentially accents for each character to really get it right.

I listen to audiobooks to and from work and actually anytime I am driving alone. 🤠
Same. If you don't mind vulgarity, Dungeon Crawler Carl has an excellent voice talent. Dresden files I've heard is good so I'll look at them eventually

You would argue anything.
I think most would say they didn’t think we’d beat Arkansas. But to sit back and say nothing seemed off with this team is out there.
That doesn’t mean this was a bad team or we hate the Vols.

The same would still be said. “I’m glad we made it to Omaha but there’s just something off with this team”. Doesn’t have to be bad or argumentative
I get that, and I support that...which is why I'm playing in the events. The problem I have is when you've already paid to play, given more money before the event starts, and then donated again at one of their "beat the pro" spots...you still get a hard sell later in the tournament when you finally turn someone down. I get they've got a job to do, but they go too far sometimes. Lloyd ain't rich...I can't start tapping into the grocery money or else I'll have to find a dead parakeet to sell.

I freaking love the Iron Druid series, Luke Daniels is so good as a voice actor I've listened to other books just to hear his performance.

I also really enjoyed The Kingkiller Series audio books. And you're right, I'm spoiled on audiobooks as I also want performances not just reading. Neil Gaiman writing is something I enjoy a lot, but I freaking hate the audiobooks he reads instead of having voice actors.
