Damn. Forgot about that. Having been born in Aiken may have something to do with my affinity to the spread. Can anybody post a report on the pimento cheese samiches at Augusta?
I always wondered if they were really as good as people claim, or if just being at Augusta National makes everything seem wonderful (Sandy Lyle's haggis notwithstanding).
A place in rural South Georgia used to serve logger grits in a large styrofoam cup. So the loggers could eat it on the go.Butter, a little sugar, and a healthy splat of Tabasco......way better than you're thinkin' right now!
Halph, that same restaurant I mentioned earlier also serves buttered saltines and you can get their homemade pimento cheese or buffalo chicken dip...I typically get both. That’s a shame. My Mom always made pimento cheese. Samiches or on saltine crackers.
I like it with good smoked ham or bologna.
I wish to God .... you would shut up. I'm going to have to take a road trip there now just to eat at that place.Halph, that same restaurant I mentioned earlier also serves buttered saltines and you can get their homemade pimento cheese or buffalo chicken dip...I typically get both.
They are “shut yo mouth” good!!
And what was that word?Better off learning that as a young man. I remember dating a number of senior girls as a sophomore in high school. I think the word got around…![]()
No blue font. May have been part of the reason early on.And what was that word?
That you weren't old enough to drive, so you only dating girls who could?
* Come to think of it, I always dated older girls through college.
They're kinda safer to date than peers or younger. With a college senior, it's not so bad if the relationship sours. They already come with an expiration date.
