Every park has an operating budget, funds are allocated for the year, that's all the park gets. Funds collected by the park from entrance fees to campground fees are sent to the treasury department,those funds are not allowed to be used by the park.

I don't think everyone knows that.

Then you have the Smokies which are prohibited by law from charging an admission fee.
I really don’t mind taxes going to National Parks. They actually belong to the American people so we should pay for their upkeep.

For those that truly believe in Reagan’s “Shining City on a Hill” analogy, then I would say there is no guarantee, but certainly a fair opportunity. I’m afraid most conservative-leaning people have lost that spirit, retreating into isolationism.

Well duh. Since the democrats opened the front door to every form of refuse and scum from... well everywhere... with absolutely no concern as to how that would affect the legitimate citizenry, of course they retrenched into isolationism. How much more of the world's garbage do we have to absorb before the left is happy? Oh. I know. Enough so that the voting base has been expanded so they never lose power.
