Much like the government Americans have a spending problem not a earning problemThat’s on them. Living paycheck to paycheck is a choice. The middle class spends every dime they make and then cry about being broke. It’s a complete joke.
My nurse is spending her quarterly bonus this month on a tummy tuck.
I’m maxing out my 403 and 457b.
Those are choices. Anyone who is 40 or older and broke has likely made a ton of horrific decisions.

Sound like a resentment class the EL is always going on about...only he doesn't have enough self reflection to know which side is it really is.And refuse to accept any spending cuts, ever. We literally have people on here upset that a camp site won’t be open (and it turns out it’s likely not even budget cut related).
If the smallest, most meaningless service is discontinued or has its budget cut, instant crocodile tears

You do know that many that are here now came in to the US on temporary work visas, then stayed. You need to make a distinction between 'useful' and 'wise'. That's like saying unprotected sex with strangers is 'useful' because it can give orgasms.
Documented workers would be both useful and wise, because we are screening and keeping up with the workers we are letting in, if we need them.
So you raise a good point here and I'll clarify my position. It could depend on the context. If a MoC or Senator espoused Communist doctrine and was known to want to replace the Constitution with Mao's Little Red Book, I might ask askance. Otherwise, I'm probably not going to get upset. Frankly, probably wouldn't even in my hypothetical. Might think they're a moron, but not to the point of being upset with an individual. A group of such members engaged in such displays could change the calculus.OP was about R politicians threatening to deport people flying Mexican flags, and so then PJ showed an image of a Republican prominently displaying a flag of another nation. Now you're caught up
Who cares what flag the people fly? FFS. Though, I don't think it's a big deal that a senator declares an ally like that, I at least get people caring that a congressman or senator would fly another flag, especially if they have a problem with that regime. You really wouldn't be concerned with a senator flying a Chinese flag prominently in his office?
