Well, I quit playing at 33 YO. I started tax consulting business, and had to travel about 30-35 weeks a year. I decided that I should stay at home with my family instead of on the golf course when I wasn't on the road.
When I did play golf I was too competitive(my personality, not my ability). I had to play at least 3 times a week just to be average.

Back in my college days we found an entire staff bag full of Callaways in a pond at the course I grew up on. I knew both the owner and pro from being there so often. As soon s as we reported it, they both knew exactly who the bag belonged to and swore he’d be back in a month with a new set. And true to form, they introduced me to him about five weeks later.

Wedge is all about practice.

I was really good until I was trying an open face wedge shot that nailed my neighbor. Her husband was pissed and I stopped practicing in the backyard.
