President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

Police answer to their chief.

Their chief answers to the local mayor.

The mayor answers to the people of his city.

So why on earth are the police acting as an arm of the federal government in these ICE protests?

They swear to upohold the constitution, which does not say "thou shalt not annoy ICE." ICE is circumventing due process. They are not upholding the constitution. We know they can't be trusted.

And every clip I see, whether it's LA or Minneapolis, the police are taking the federal government's side against their own people. We are so, so ****ed. The deck is so, so stacked. And nobody in here (a board full of people who claim to believe in federalism and sovereignty on the local level) has even thought about this from this perspective, I bet.

Long live the Empire

I think it is because Dems and MAGA may not be as far apart as they appear in the media.

Tend to agree with hog, it is hard to root for ICE here. There are better ways to get rid of illegal immigration. I would just **** off the benefits

I’d say best way to stay out of it, is to not get involved in it. If ICE isn’t looking for you, don’t block the streets.

Offer them a free ticket and money to return and they refuse? Talk about entitled..Time to rough em up.

What gets me is this pride in their own nation, yet refuse to live there.

Might want to leave Minneapolis out of your stance. Walz had his police/NG shoot at his voters standing on their own porch. Patrolling the streets in military vehicle.

Why do you think I want to cover that up? I don't like Democrats, but more than anything, I have principles. I don't hide from the truth.

Trump's America

"You stand in my church...You're not listening to me. You stand in my church. You promised a better relationship," Rasmussen yelled as O'Hara worked to disperse a crowd of protestors.

"The fact that we see Minneapolis police escorting these tanks down the street does not instill a lot of confidence within a community that has been really badly traumatized by the Minneapolis police over the last five years," Rasmussen told local media.

"They're trying to scare communities. This affects businesses, this affects our neighbors. It's a trauma that our community doesn't need. People are welcome in Minneapolis, when they show up like that, fully militarized, that's not a good sign for our community," said Miguel Hernandez, with the Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee.

You must've lived in a tiny little bubble your whole life. Talk to a single Tennessean who lives outside of Tennessee and find out if they still have pride in it. I haven't lived there in 20 years, and I was wearing a tri-star on my shirt yesterday.

Can someone explain to me how egg prices are down 400%?

Grocery prices are down? I saw a single 8oz ribeye at Wegmans on sale for $47. Forty Seven f##king dollars. The only food price that Trump knows is how much a big mac costs at Micky Dees Nuts.

To be fair though, I've never seen the high egg prices (or maybe I don't notice). I have seen "limits" on how many eggs people can buy though.

Foods up 2%+ this year per the USDA Food Price Outlook - Summary Findings | Economic Research Service

(USDA next to be defunded)

Waving a national flag during a violent protest is an act of defiance against this nation..
I have lived in 5 states, so nice try,

I was mainly talking about the fact that being "down 400%" is not a thing that is possible

He doesn't have a handle on anything anymore.

- German chancellor embarrassing him in the Oval office and he doesn't even get it.

- says he wasn't aware of investigations into Musk contracts when his admin closed them.

- didn't remember the USMCA was his baby and called it "horrible."

- see everything he tweets

Bro is taking naps and watching Fox News, that's about it....and apparently his diapers stink.

Apparently, it's been 33 years since a president federalized the national guard and I think this may be the first time it's been because the people and the federal government are at odds.

I gotta say, this Trump thing is going great.

Edit: CRA enforcement was local vs. federal
