President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

Why are dems so up about “due process“ when illegal migrants are detained when there was no regard for “due process” when they entered this country?

Someone explain.
Why do we give murderers due process when they didn't give their victims due process? Kind of a stupid argument, right?

We don't say because you committed a crime, no due process for you.

Due process applies to government action; it does not govern interactions by individuals. The original argument may not have been the best, but your example is not any better.

These videos are created to deliver an emotional reaction from the people viewing it. In my experience, there is usually a lot of info being left out.

If my wife was being deported, my kids and I would be going with her. It sucks but they are having to clean up a mess left by the previous administration.
So you would gladly move your kids to Sudan where in a matter of weeks they would die of starvation or disease. You're dad of the year material.

No, but the point I was making is moving your children to a dangerous or impoverished region isn't being a responsible parent. He didn't rule that out, he indicated being a loving spouse/father meant following your spouse in deportation.

Lol. Yea being a responsible parent is being a criminal with your kids in tow.

The "looking for a better opportunity" argument falls apart when:
1) you realize that that "opportunity" usually is (benefits reserved for Americans attained via fraud);
2) you realize what absolutely horrific danger they put their kids through while being trafficked over the border; and
3) you realize that these people often sold their and their kids future to exceptionally shady (and enormous) debt to come in the way they did.

I'm not making this stuff up. My wife has an extensive background in immigration law and I've worked on CTIP projects in the recent past. In many cases these people come to the US for the promise of ease- not opportunity.

I have met many people over the years in the restaurant industry that came from China as younger adults and yeah, they have to pay back their debt to the criminals that assisted them in gaining access to the US. Ultimately, they have a much better life AFTER the debt is erased.

I'm sure those loans are made at very reasonable interest rates just over prime.

The traffickers have the marketing of this activity down so well that even ignorant Americans apparently buy it. It's not great. The absolute best and right thing we could do is remove incentives for this stuff and teach those people how to improve their own countries.

LOL .... you post that like I should care. 🤠
That's the point, champ.

Congress Nears Move To Designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a Terrorist Organization

Momentum for the policy grew in the wake of Donald Trump's trip to the Middle East

Momentum has built for the U.S. government to formally designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization in the weeks since President Donald Trump’s Middle East trip, lawmakers and other sources familiar with the effort tell the Washington Free Beacon.

While the parties involved iron out the final details, sources working on the effort said that lawmakers have multiple avenues to financially cripple the Muslim Brotherhood, a global Islamist organization that preaches terrorism against Israel, the United States, and Western governments.
