@BruisedOrange
I've been meaning to get back to about lazing about the houseboat.
Today I completely relaxed and watched baseball and plan on doing that Sunday and a little bit Monday. Mentally I've carved out June and half of July to take it easy, but since classes ended, I've been really busy with work and taking care of two of my two closest friends that have significant health issues. I'm not a martyr about it, I feel blessed that I'm in the perfect position to help them and they're both very appreciative.
I have one more business trip planned before taking it easy and that is to go to Phoenix on Tuesday morning. I've wanted to go out there for a few weeks, but I haven't had the time and tbh, people aren't too happy about the delay. I don't offer an explanation, but the reality is my two friends are a big reason I'm able to do the work that I do. So without them, there wouldn't even be any, or very much patent work. So it makes sense to me to support them.
FYI: When I'm working, it's like going to a party or a movie where I completely lose track of time and I feel incredibly blessed and lucky that what I consider work doesn't (yet?) feel like work.
I like the heat, but I've never experienced the kind of heat Phoenix has. I mention this because a few of us are going and I'm the only one looking forward to that trip.
If you get a chance or are in the mood, I suggest watching
SEC Now. I am amazed at how many teams seem capable of winning a championship.
