Should have just kept the call on the field. There was no “clear and concise evidence” for them to rule malicious intent.

Tried looking at it counter-objectively... and I still can't see any alternative way the runner could have gone for the plate that would look "less malicious"---and certainly many ways he could have appeared "more malicious."

So... do the umps have an equipment contract with Adidas?

Catcher is not allowed to block the plate anymore. If anything, the catcher should have been called for obstruction. They got that call wrong all the way around. Umpires once again taking over the game instead of letting the players decide it. And they get to umpire/review plays again today. Pathetic.

I see an ad on Facebook saying you can sign up for ESPN + for $4.99 for 3 months.
Not sure how reliable that is bc I've been duped B4 by Facebook ads some months passed. So I don't trust them as far as I can pick them up & toss them out the back door.
