When I had season tickets from 2015-17 it was $300 a year and I could go to any baseball game I wanted for a can of beans.Yeah
Ridiculous
Last year we paid 200 for Chattanooga game
Mid bowl on the 30 but still way too much
Only one we could all make work
Not going this year
Bought a new TV and have cheaper concessions at home lol
Just like costs for many other things, I'm very picky about what I'm willing to pay. Hotels well over $100 a night? Nope. Airfare over $400? Yikes. Tickets, depending on the event, over $100? I'll watch on TV. And a pickup for 100,000? Are you kidding me? Get outta here.Every program wants butts in seats and empirical evidence indicates tickets are grossly overpriced in today’s era. I’m not sure how you can argue otherwise. There is basically a duopoly on live event ticketing and it’s driving prices through the roof.
I don't like the fact that many working families are now priced out of going to games (especially football). You get a whole different vibe without them. When I had season tickets from 2015-17 it was $300 a year and I could go to any baseball game I wanted for a can of beans.
Winning naturally changed that but the baseball ticket prices are obscene and no one can convince me otherwise. None of the blue bloods of the sport charge even half what we do.
football still feels the same to me, but I have always sat in the south endzone upper deck with the “poors”I don't like the fact that many working families are now priced out of going to games (especially football). You get a whole different vibe without them.
I can't remember the last hotel room I saw under $100. You must not travel to larger cities often?Just like costs for many other things, I'm very picky about what I'm willing to pay. The cost of being revelent again... Would you rather go 6-6 and pay less or be a playoff worthy team and pay a little more...ADDW is a business man as well as a AD...I don't like the fact that many working families are now priced out of going to games (especially football). Can probably find one with less mileage for a few $k more, but 170k on a diesel is barely broken in. . .Just like costs for many other things, I'm very picky about what I'm willing to pay. Love Basil Hayden. It’s what I put in my mini-cask. Looking to do some Three Roses next and try the Chattanooga that Forbes article endorsed Would love a Fabian’s subscription for Father’s Day…but wouldn’t ask for $40 a month as a gift. Maybe my daughter could do the first month and let me take over out of sight of the wife?weekend haul! View attachment 745229
i am excited about Bubbas!

the Basil Hayden is tastey as well. but i hope that bubbas tastes as good as what i am thinking!
Was able to root for them. My neighbors were Oakland fanatics before they took off.Yea, Bob was one of my favorites in the 80''s . I even kept up with him when he went to Oakland, probably had his best years there. Welch and Dave Stewart that led that Oakland A's staff in late 80's were both Dodgers ..
I'm sipping Four Roses as we speak. Delicioso.Love Basil Hayden. It’s what I put in my mini-cask.
