President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

Unity????? Trump is the most hate mongering thing to ever occupy the oval office. Did you pay attention to his warm message on memorial day?
Like I said. It was sarcasm. The country is uniting, but I don't think it's Trump that is uniting us.

I think it's the Democrat Party that's been uniting us.

Trump is the leader of unity we've been needing.
"This is monumental. America is typically bitterly divided. Trump’s numbers don’t lie: 53% of the electorate backs Trump’s agenda and results. That number cratered to the teens under Joe Biden. Trump’s approval is now higher than the day he took office"

And thats barely above 50% of GOP majority voters. (That ain't good)

When Trump's numbers are good, MAGA claims that his popularity is THE measure of his correctness.

When his numbers go south, MAGA claims that his popularity is irrelevant.

You’re told what to believe. Hate mongering started well before he came into office. Save us the repeat simpleton liberal rage.

It's just like the markets really:

Market up: "See tariffs work, Trump is a genius 5-D chess, boom owned the libs, suck it"

Market down: "This is Biden's economy, Trump has only been in charge for X days, activist judges, paying higher prices is patriotic anyway".

Lot of mental gymnastics here. Trump does not do ANYTHING unless he feels someone has wronged him or he has a grift/angle to work. Feel free to take a look at his EO's targeting law firms who went after him or that he felt went after him. That's all the proof you need to know the dudes a petty little b!tch and will lash out at anyone he feels wronged him. Presidential Actions Archives

So when the White House has to issue a statement on "rumors" (its a legal angle they are working to justify some action, in this case going after Harvard) you should immediately know they are FOS. This is no different than the Biden White House downplaying his mental health. In fact, its exactly the same propaganda op.
Your making an assumption and you may be correct....who can verify it??? Harvard, who is refusing to verify it...Harvard. What reason would Harvard have to not release whether Barron apply or not....id he applied and it proven them Harvard can use that because it is retaliation and they strengthen any case against Trump they have...explain the benefits of not releasing that info??

Is application information generally kept confidential?

I'd say its "taking the high road"..something good leadership does. Their beef isn't with the kid so no reason to shame him over his fathers childish behavior. That's just my take though. Even if his kid didn't apply Harvard did something, perceived or real, to Trump which is why he is going after him. If you look at every aggressive over the top thing Trump does its always in retaliation for "something they" did to him. Always.

But my point is the rumor gets out there and the White House has to release a statement about it just reeks of desperation and comes of to me as a sad attempt to cover up the truth. Trump knows he can do pretty much anything and not be personally held liable as President. What he doesn't understand is that there are still consequences for his actions and the spin doctors gotta act fast to try and smokescreen his buffoonery.

Agent provocateurs is what you are probably thinking about. 100% chance they had them on the ground.

That being said this is probably just like every other "bombshell" report previous administrations have dropped in the past few decades, aka nothingburgers.
Maybe, but something tells me this administration is taking this serious. They need to. If laws were broken, and many of us think they were, then we must respond.

I'd be interested in seeing the outcome. The entire January 6th thing was a hillbilly tresspass charge that was blown out of proportion. An insurrection it was not and people who call it that are lunatics.

I would have been surprised if Harvard hadn’t rejected him, only because of who he is.
Based on the fact that the first college/university that Donald Trump attended was Fordham, I would be surprised if he had the necessary academic credentials to even be considered by Harvard. Yes, I know that Trump later transferred to the Wharton School of Business at Penn University, but that doesn't mean that he would have been accepted by Harvard. Donald Trump did not attend any type of graduate school after completing his bachelor's degree, which is a little strange for graduates of the Wharton School.

Harvard famously rejected JFK Jr. because he didn't meet their minimum criteria. Not only did JFK Jr. have a more storied family name than Trump, his mother also had a lot more money. Jackie Kennedy inherited a fortune when Aristotle Onassis died in 1975.
