President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

Democrats are still moving further left. They have learned nothing from the 2024 election cycle.
It's a freaking CF with the Democrats right now as to the direction of the party. They've been presented with the greatest opportunity ever to assert a hold on the middle 50 since Trump became POTUS in 2016, but are continuing to put too much emphasis on catering to their myriad of fringe elements

curious about what all Trump has done to threaten DEMOCRACY. whatever the eff that even means.

He has done plenty of damage to this country. but this is just like the dumb DOGE tweets with alarm emojis and way too many exclamation points. bs red meat to rile up the base without really being about anything in specific.
What damage has he done?

I didn't say the ends justified the means. I suspect that, had they known at the time that Biden would ultimately not run, they'd have reacted differently.
Yea, you pretty much did.
And no, they would not have acted differently.

"[Biden] just had to win, and then he could disappear for four years. He'd only have to show proof of life every once in a while…His aides could pick up the slack."

"The Conference Board’s Consumer Confidence Index jumped by 12.3 points in May, the largest monthly gain in four years, as Americans grew more upbeat about the economy, the job market, and their own financial prospects. The reading came in at 98.0, up sharply from April’s 85.7, and blew past all forecasts by economists.

Econoday’s survey had a range of forecasts from 84.0 to 91.3, with the consensus at 87.3.

It wasn’t just a bounce—it was a breakout.

The Expectations Index, which measures how consumers see the next six months, soared by the most since 2011. That surge suggests that despite months of gloomy headlines, Americans are seeing signs of improvement ahead.

Even before the U.S. and China announced their May 12 tariff truce, confidence was already on the rise. After the deal—which temporarily slashed punitive tariffs and restarted negotiations—sentiment surged further.

“The rebound was already visible before the May 12 US-China trade deal but gained momentum afterwards,” said Stephanie Guichard, senior economist at the Conference Board.

"Rasmussen is not the only pollster who reflects this optimism. In the RealClearPolitics average poll of right track-wrong track polling, things are dramatically moving in the right direction. Back in November of 2024, 63 percent said America was on the wrong track, while only 26 percent said we were on the right track. That’s a 37-point negative difference. Today, there is only a seven-point negative difference, with 44 percent saying we are on the right track and 51 percent saying wrong track."

Apparently Trump is going pardon every fraudster he can before the year is up.

Birds of a feather and all...

I noticed you weren’t crying like a little bit&& when biden pardoned over 8000 felons, drug dealers, murders, swindlers, family members, and friends. At least trump isn’t allowing staffers to use an auto pen to extort money for pardons

I personally don't support the concept of Presidential clemency at all.

Though I take it you didn't have a problem with them yourself, given that your response is "but what about Biden"?
