So you have a problem with all private membership clubs?Give me a break.
If Hunter Biden had co-founded a private club in D.C. with a $500,000 membership fee, while his father was the President of the United States, Republicans / Conservatives / Trump supporters would interpret those optics to be selling access and influence to the White House.
Nobody advertises their intention to sell influence. A private club with extravagant membership fees, has long since been a way to fund "pay-for-play" schemes. The name of the club is an interesting choice of words, but not important to the core issue. The optics of such clubs are terrible.
But the optics of selling kindergarten quality watercolors is......Give me a break.

No .... Did I say that?So you have a problem with all private membership clubs?
“You don't know that. It is conjecture.”-BB86 on Monday when discussing the Biden health coverup.Give me a break.

It is indeed conjecture, but it is supported by past allegations. House Republicans did accuse Hunter Biden of selling access and influence to his father, over matters which were similar in nature to Donald Trump Jr's $500K private club membership fee.“You don't know that. Conjecture. No need to spin it, your words not mine.It is indeed conjecture, but it is supported by past allegations. House Republicans did accuse Hunter Biden of selling access and influence to his father, over matters which were similar in nature to Donald Trump Jr's $500K private club membership fee.
So, you don't think that Republicans would have been accusing Hunter Biden of selling access and influence to his father, if he co-founded a private membership club in D.C. with a $500,000 membership fee? They spent 4 damn years accusing Hunter Biden of doing exactly that. In some instances, they were right ... and in some others they were reaching.Ah, but it is conjecture based on “past allegations.”
See, therein lies the difference.
So, you don't think that….
That's your problem.I think that a adult trying to distinguish between “conjecture” and “conjecture based on past allegations” is foolish.
It is equally foolish to make a distinction between “guesses” and “educated guesses.”
Beyond that, I didn’t express an opinion regarding the subject matter of the posts; I couldn’t get past the petty, silly semantic arguments.
And you were silent. Sit this one out too.So, you don't think that Republicans would have been accusing Hunter Biden of selling access and influence to his father, if he co-founded a private membership club in D.C. with a $500,000 membership fee?
