I know Loy gives you a lefty out of the pen, but he’s started previously. I wonder if we look at starting him in a game 3.

I wouldn’t want to start Kuhns in a decisive game 3 in the coming weeks. I’m with you. I’d give it to Loy or Russell.

But I’m not Tony V and I trust his decisions.

Game 3s has been pitching by committee. It’s the reversal of last season when game 1s was pitching by committee.

When your 2nd baseman is struggling, that's one thing but when the SS AND the 2nd baseman can't field a ball, you're in for heartbreaks

That's been the theme of SEC play for the VOLS this season. The game ain't over yet but this sure does look familiar.

You are allowed to criticize, but you look silly, especially considering we are the reigning World champs and still won that game.

We are not playing like World Series champs. This is a different year and one can not live on what you did last year. If we don’t play better, will not repeat. We are making too many errors, pitching is struggling, and our hitting is suffering from swinging for the fences in a ball park that is much larger than LNS. To me, the biggest concern is the errors made by our infield. If you are going to continue to make errors in the field, you had better get a hot bat. I agree with the pitching rotation we have used this week because, we need a rested staff if we are going to advance to Omaha. However, the errors have to eliminated for us to advance. We are giving up a lot of unearned runs.
