Florida is very good but right now they are at 10. Right in ballpark of Vols and Arkansas. Losing a Walter Clayton and Richard is a big deal. No guarantees on any of the transfers doing close to what their veterans did. It is a wide open year again that a bunch of teams can win. Condon has looked good at combine. I don’t think he is coming back. Same for Oweh at Kentucky. If condon comes back they are obviously #1 imo. He is likely SEC POY. Even without him they are strong.
Borzello projects both to return.Florida is very good but right now they are at 10. Right in ballpark of Vols and Arkansas. Losing a Walter Clayton and Richard is a big deal. Will Richard and Denzel Aberdeen are gone, as well. They return their entire frontcourt if Condon returns. They hit the portal hard after guard replacements. Boogie Fland, AJ Brown from Ohio, and Xaivian Lee from Princeton. Adding a couple top 30-50 players in the freshmen class. That means they return their core minus Clayton and Martin, right?
That’s the dream scenario, for sure…. We’d be the preseason #1 team in the country if that somehow came to fruition..Been watching 2021-22 highlights, seeing ZZ and Chandler together, certainly possible for ZZ and Gillespie to thrive. I like this:
Starters: Ziegler / Gillespie / Ament / Carey / Okpara
Rotation: Gainey / Abram / Phillips / Estrella
Spot Minutes: Boswell / Evans / Massamba
Development/Reserve: Henderson / Hurst / Brown
Really talked myself into ZZ/Gainey both back, the more I think about it.
Very true. Florida just swept the slime under the rug. No way those women all made that up. At some point hopefully a civil suit is brought up.Florida gonna be a top team in SEC again, I just don't think they'll easily replace what they lost from the backcourt.
Talent wise gonna be close for sure but those guys had experience and had played together for a few years before it all clicked. Still sucks to see a POS like Todd Golden having success. But hey look at Will Wade, the old saying "no one cares, if you're winning" holds true
