The point being that it's likely not a personal gift to Trump, nor anything he'd even want/need. It's probably more likely a white elephant that Qatar wants gone, and Trump took it on behalf of the United States to build good will in negotiations. We shouldn't spend $500mill on updating it if it's going to be a museum piece. And what museum is big enough to house that size plane? Reagan's, OK but not many
They've been trying to sell it for years. They basically grabbed something from their closet when they realized he was coming to visit. He made it out to be the greatest thing ever and pumped it up like it could ever be used by the us govt. It's a really big doorstopThe point being that it's likely not a personal gift to Trump, nor anything he'd even want/need. -800s are limited in where they can go because of wingspan. Sort of like the A380, but not as critical so it is a bit of a white elephant for commercial carriers. It's also 4 engines which is a maintenance expense. Once the 747-400s/A380s age out, you won't ever sqee any more 4 engine airplanes in commercial service. The point being that it's likely not a personal gift to Trump, nor anything he'd even want/need. Look at it like the fundamentals of blocking and tackling in football. If you have loons on the left that can't agree on what a woman is (fundamentals), then how can we expect them to run a post pattern, corner blitz, or a draw play going forward. The MAGA obsession with trans people is probably the most bizarre affectations of your religion.
I don't support trans women competing against biological women in sports but I have the ask, if not for anything other than how ****ing funny your assertion is:
How many civilizations have been destroyed by trans acceptance?

immorality has always been a part of fallen civilizations......no civilization can stand without a moral base...not a single one.You said it's the kind of thing that brings down civilizations. Citing Joe Rogan without any of your own thoughts is bad enough (no Grok take?), but even he only labeled it as a symptom of societal decay; not a cause.
This is how I've seen it most often been couched (not just Rogan) though some conversation get a bit chicken/egg.You said it's the kind of thing that brings down civilizations.
