Fischer is just a solid, solid player.

That kid from Arky is really good, but there has not been a better hitter in the SEC this year. He is fun to watch swing the bat. His entire approach, from set up, discipline, time-outs, swings out of his shoes yet under control. I am going to miss him the way I miss some of last year's hitters.

Nashville Sounds have made proposals to the SEC but they won’t leave Hoover. Imagine the crowds it would draw in Nashville.

Looking at these smallish crowds I have been wondering about possibly replacing the tournament with 4 4-team round robins. Would remove the 1 game weekend for any team, gives those lower seeds needing wins more chances.
