It's an interesting question, and I think it's a tricky trade because I don't think teams are going to want to give up matching value because of his contract, while the Jazz don't mind his contract at all.

I would put his player value around the same spot as De'Aaron Fox. Fox is a much better floor-raiser, but I think Lauri makes championship roster construction much easier because of the shooting/rim defending combo. I was pretty surprised how little the Spurs gave up to get Fox, and I'm not into that.

Can you even trade us Fontecchio if we traded him to you? Sometimes there are weird rules like that.

They might do that, TBH. If Holland can learn to shoot, he's gonna be nasty.

I think so, it's been over a year, but that's a good question.

Holland really, really impressed me. He shot over 60% from 2's this year and it wasn't just all wide-open dunks. He's 19 and already a solid defender, he cuts hard and has really good touch around the rim. I think he has major talent; it's just going to be if he can shoot at all. But there were some good signs. I would hate to trade him, but I understand with him, Ausar and Duren, that could be a spacing nightmare.

No, the Pistons have won 💍💍💍, that many rings since '89, the Knicks and Nets haven't won sh!t in my entire life, 1971, but I only remember watching NBA since the Bullets beat the Sonics ('78?) then the Sonics won the rematch, the next year. I wanted to be Dennis Johnson, in those years,then Isiah Thomas.

I don’t care about either team. Or the NBA in general really.
