The Atlanta Braves

Schedule got easier. Still a long way to go if we are make real noise in Sept/October. But something can be said about winning the games you should win but I ain’t putting anything on the line with this team
A solid month of the best team in baseball still pretty strong considering the start and holes lol Trying to be more optimistic, especially if we get 80 percent of good Strider and Ronnie

Mets not great and have rotation and defensive questions. Phillies older and not world beaters either.

Truly think the west will be strong all year with at least 2 playoff teams, probably need to win the division

We're easily the best team in the division with a healthy (and good) Strider and Acuna.

I mean geez, 2 of our biggest problems right now are which All-Star level catcher we're gonna start on any given night and which elite hitter we are gonna let DH once Acuna is back.

This is some next level wizardry going on

He's one of the guys I wish we had traded for this past off-season. With his remaining contract and the Mariners financial situation, they would have probably given him away for Bryce Elder and other AAAA fodder.

The Dodgers appear to have gotten old real fast. They are very lucky Freeman hasn't aged like the typical 1b or they would be cooked.

Betts is showing some age this year. Probably wasn't the smartest idea to move an elite hitter to the 2nd most physically demanding position on the field when he was already 30 years old.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

We are the best team in baseball over the last month. We are 4.5 back of the division lead and we have arguably our 2 best players returning.

Have y'all really forgotten just how good Ronnie and Strider are?

We are also having to rely on Grant Holmes, Rafael Montero, Enyol De Los Santos, Nick Allen, Eli White, Scott Blewett and the corpse of Ozzie Albies.

This is still a flawed team

It is easily the best team in the league buddy. They are always easily the best team in the league.

We are not getting cy young strider or mvp acuna most likely

They easily have the best lineup, easily have the best rotation, and after AA works his midseason magic they will easily have the best bullpen.

Easily!!

Or we could spend $100mn on someone who doesn’t stink.

BP has still been pretty decent and stands to be better if they shift Holmes back to the pen and potentially bring up Kimbrel (assuming Kimbrel also isn't awful).

Nick Allen has been the best defensive SS in baseball this year.

Eli White is pretty solid and he'll shift to more of a platoon role with Acuna coming back.

And again, my caveat here is that Strider and Acuna can return to anything remotely close to the level they were before the injury. If Acuna can be even a .800+ OPS hitter this year and Strider can be a 3.50 ERA pitcher, those are pretty significant additions, even if they aren't the peak versions of those players.

You’re something else homie

Buddy that is exactly what Nick Allen’s page looks like

1. We aren't paying Allen $90 million over the next 4 years.

2. We can afford to run out a terrible offensive SS if he is elite defensively. Certainly we can as long as Riley, Olson, Ozuna, Acuna, Murphy, and Baldwin keep hitting. On any given night, that is 5 well above average to elite level hitters in the lineup. And that is also assuming Harris and Ozzie continue to be virtual black holes (unlikely).

3. Allen is currently on pace for a 2-3 fWAR season. Would you rather him post an .850+ OPS while being the worst defensive SS in the league, and post a 2-3 fWAR season? What difference does it make how he got to 2-3 fWAR as long as he got there?
