Just did a little research. Coach McClain was on staff at Georgia for McDowell's freshman year there. Could definitely be a connection there. May have been the coach who recruited him to UGA. Not a betting man, but that's where I would put my money.

I would be very surprised if it’s Rice, I think yall are reading TK’s post incorrectly. He’s not saying the player has ties to Gillespie, he was saying possibly even “tied” with Gillespie as far as impactful
