Elite reflexes and hand eye covers a lot of athletic shortcomings. Also lateral agility and straight line speed are two different things.

Other than the two months of Matt Adams, pretty crazy my entire adult life we’ve had two HOF glove-type defensive 1B (which almost makes up for Scott Thurman and Troy Glaus)

Team deserves credit for battling back and getting into the division race with a manager that retired 12 months ago and a GM that cares about bragging on the moves he didn’t make compared to what he’s actually done. Most heart they’ve shown in a while. Not gonna get my hopes up with the clown show running the team at manager, but at least they are (usually) fun to watch again. Even if Ronnie and Strider are just above average, they’ve given themselves a real chance.

Schedule got easier. Still a long way to go if we are make real noise in Sept/October. But something can be said about winning the games you should win but I ain’t putting anything on the line with this team
