The Greenback community is a very strong! Proud, and supportive group of people. The community will do their part to help the athletics department return to glory. Inevitability, the team must produce, but boosters, families, and volunteers are a necessity to make success a reality. Good luck Greenback, YOU GOT THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you tell us more about this culture, or culture change? Was it something unique to the Greenback community, or something that could happen anywhere?

It's a very long story. But people who shouldn't have had influence on coaching hires had influence on coaching hires in the interest of destroying Greenback athletics because that was basically what they felt like was only thing keeping them from closing Greenback school to bus the students to other county schools. Loudon county has been trying to get rid of Greenback school for many years. That's the gist of it.They were almost successful a few times.

There may be someone else on here who wants to go deeper into the details, but I would prefer not to.
