Africans enslaved over 1 million white Europeans mostly by Barbary Pirates.

Black Africans also captured and enslaved the Africans that were shipped to the Caribbean and US. There weren't roving bands of white slavemasters killing and enslaving blacks. Africa was and is dangerous and inaccessible. Tribes enslaved other Tribes and sold them for profit or traded them for goods.

Of course none of this is taught in US schools. They just teach that terrible, mean white folks had black slaves and it's cause for all white Americans to feel really guilty. Nevermind the fact that about a third of the slaves sold in New Orleans for example were sold to black slave owners in the US. Never gonna read about that in a public school textbook, either.

I learned every fact stated above from an extremely intelligent and highly educated black man named Thomas Sowell. He has taught at Harvard and Stanford. His videos are all over youtube, and his quotes pop up in threads here pretty regularly.

There's no doubt that the ancient Egyptians were multi-racial, and that there was a Nubian/Kush dynasty, but to generally say that the ancient Egyptians were exclusively a black people is inherently wrong, as wrong as it would be say that there was no blacks in ancient Egypt.

My family (which is mixed race) never owned any slaves as far back as we can tell...and nobody in my family owes anyone on this planet anything because of the color of their skin. The racist Liberal bullcrap is old and tired, and doesn't help anyone. Every group of people on Earth has had slaves and likely been slaves at some point in time.

North Africans are definitely not white. Many are mulattoes like Colin Kaepernick and Patrick Mahomes. If you know North Africans you'll know most have very curly hair that if they let grow out turns into big bushy Afros. Here are two of the most famous North African soccer players.

The hair always tells their true ancestry. Also the dominant Y-DNA haplogroup in North Africa is E1b1b which originated in East Africa and is the brother of E1b1a which is found West and Central Africa. So whether it's phenotype or genotype North Africans are at least partially black.

The white looking modern North Africans are genetically about 2/3 white and 1/3 black. They are an admixture between the original people of North Africa who were black and genetically similar to modern East Africans and Eurasians.

However, before the influx of Eurasians into North Africa the region was originally all black like the rest of Africa.

America is a "multiracial" country with one black president in its history and yet it would be accurate to say this was white nation at its origin and has been led almost exclusively by white people for all its history. Also America has been more like England and other European countries for most of its history than Mexico or Africa despite the presence of Africans and Native Americans from the beginning.

Ancient Egypt was no different. At its core it was a black African civilization founded by Ethiopians (according to Ancient Greek historian Diodorus Siculus). Just like America was a colony of England, the Greeks believed that Egypt was a colony of Ethiopia. Almost every Pharaoh in dynastic Egypt was black. The culture of the country was one that was similar to other black nations and has continued to this day in modern black groups.

So yall can save me with this multiracial bs. It's just a code word that means the black people there were slaves or at the bottom rung of society while lighter skin people dominated. Which couldn't be further from the truth.

I do know quite a few North Africans, mainly from work. The Berbers (Barbary) are fairly pale and the Arabs are a little darker. The US Census Bureau says they're white. I'd go along with that. They're more white than black.

If you want to call both mulatto or both black feel free. I wasn't trying to make any absolute with those terms. Just using them in those contexts seemed appropriate. Most people consider Obama the first black president so I said it in the manner most use it. And in the post about Kaepernick I was trying to compare his phenotype with that of the North African soccer player.
