Pictures are from somerset. A local news repirted a tornado was on the ground almost an hour, hitting parts of London, and maybe Corbin. It was really bad where my parents are, but no confirmed tornado at the moment. Mom said they're out of power, water, and trees are down all around.

While the overhyping that guys like Ryan Hall does sometimes does more harm than good, last night, he saved lives. Plain and Simple. The NWS absolutely screwed up.....

we have been consumed by the events since 230 yesterday, when our son called after he and our granddaughter emerged from their basement to say they were OK.


Twister touched down close to their home in the Clayton-Richmond Heights area and literally moved along the path towad Merramec Elem, where grandsons are in 1st and 2nd grade, Boys were in school basement when twister cut thru property near the school. and they were kept inside over concerns about gas leaks and downed power lines,.

Bottom line all are OK, and all 3 grandkids are with mom and dad at tennis lessons I didnt know unti flhis morning how lucky they were to escape this tragedy

More later, TV coverage online has been excellent, but with too many heartbreaking stories. There was even footage along the street where boys would have to walk on days that their parents couldnt pick them up
