So arky lost 4 of their last 5 series but swept Texas so I guess that what keeps them in the super regional?
They have always said magic number to top 8 seed is 18 regular season Sec games. That's why many believe if Tennessee sweeps we have 18 and none of 18 was against Mizz which Ark has on there resume. Hope this helps. In CHRIST Alone

Yep. we're 2 Friday night errors against LSU from being in the same position.

But I think if we win 2/3 against Arkansas and win two in hoover, we might get back to national seed level.

I see Hog fans are back online last night/this morning talking about how they can’t wait till Tony is their next coach. They are so delusional lol.
They're clamoring openly for DVH to retire every time they lose a game but we're the worst fans in the country for questioning a few managerial decisions

Jokes on them, Tony isn't going anywhere. And EVEN IF he did, we'd just promote Elander and make Frank AHC with a massive raise, so he'd be going to the new job without his top lieutenant and pitching coach.
most likely. Frank has said he's not moving again, and that he's retiring here.

Don't get me wrong, Tony could still hire an elite staff even without those two, but let's not pretend like there wouldn't be a few bumps in the road for a year or two at the hypothetical new job.

Doesn't matter anyways: Tony ain't leaving.

So many big plays last night. Aside from the HR's, maybe the biggest in my mind was Marin's 2-run single with 2 outs in the 4th (I think it was the 4th). Yeah, the SS could have made that play, but he didn't. We were in desperate need of someone coming up with a clutch hit, and I think that really gave us a big boost.

Also, the play when we threw out the guy at home that ended the inning instead of Arkansas going up 3-1 and still batting. Every angle of that replay changed whether I thought he was actually safe or out. I think his foot might have gotten in there ahead of the tag, but it was really close.

Finally, I'll throw in the last out of the game. That was a really, really nice play by Snead. He could have easily put that thing in right field, and if he did, it's 10-8 with the tying run at bat.

I wasn't going to mention the weird liner that AA "caught", but here's my thought on it. I think Arkansas fans feel like they got screwed on that play, but if the ump had ruled no catch, I think it turns into a double play because AA wouldn't have thrown to 1st (I hope). He would have gone to 3rd, and then Marin would have thrown to 2nd (I hope). If AA had actually caught it like he should have, it would have also been an easy DP because he could have just stepped on 2nd. We've got to clean some of this stuff up, but at this point I think errors are just sort of baked into who we are this season. It was nice to see our opponent go bad little league fielding there in the 9th for a change.
