And yes, Trump is an egotistical arrogant blowhard. Which is why I don’t like him as a person. But he is implementing policies with which I agree to a greater extent than any President since Reagan. That is why I voted for him.I agree with your last comment. That absolutely describes our current POTUS even more acutely. You agree, right? It's a problem that exists at highest levels of the 3 branches
Trump is neither smart enough nor informed enough to be arrogant about it, embarrassing himself about it when he claims he knows better than anyone on a myriad of issues. It's comical. And yes, Trump is an egotistical arrogant blowhard. Which is why I don’t like him as a person. I was around for Reagan and I support Trump. So there are a few of us. Of course, I would always pick Reagan if I were given a choice between the two for a leader. Reagan was a staunch conservative but was never mean to anyone about it. He was a true gentleman who even hung out with the opposition after hours.Trump is neither smart enough nor informed enough to be arrogant about it, embarrassing himself about it when he claims he knows better than anyone on a myriad of issues. Reagan? No one around from that era in the administration of Reagan supports Trump. Most can't stand him except a handful, if that

I doubt you'd be so defensive of the authorities if on one of your overseas jaunts you were snatched off the street by a masked gang, sent to jail and housed with common criminals, and told you we're being deported, all for something like reading a book (freely available where you were) or other activity protected by the constitution of your host country but against the personal views of its despot. One thing though, you'd know you were in a tinpot dictatorship.Surprised (not). Clinton appointed “judge” trying everything in the book to slow down the Trump reforms overwhelmingly voted for in the 2024 election. And as many people are rightly pointing out, a Visa is a privilege not a right. It can be revoked at any time.for any reason
Whenever I am overseas I remind myself that I am a guest in their country and if I do anything to offend the authorities there, they can put me in a car and drive me to the airport and put me on the next flight home. No trial. No calling a lawyer. No right to demand “due process”
These entitled Hamas loving dweebs seem to constantly forget that.
She's absolutely being prosecuted for her speech. If not for that then for what? How did she insult the US? It sounds like you haven't even read the op-ed.And being in the United States as a non citizen still is a privilege not a right. And that privilege can be revoked at Will with no justification required. That is the due process that applies. No matter how much you try to undermine the constitution which gives sole discretion over matters related to aliens and immigration to the executive branch. Don’t you believe in the rule of law?
And the bill of rights is still intact. She is not being prosecuted for her speech. She will however be prosecuted if she ignores the decision to revoke her visa. She can continue to say anything she likes. She just can’t continue to stay here as our guest.
If I invite someone into my house and that person starts insulting me, I can and will ask them to leave. That is all that is happening here.

What exactly did she say per that article that you don't like?Well this seals it for me. After this totally unethical statement by “Wise Latina” Sotomayor, Trump would be justified in ignoring any SCOTUS rulings in which she is in the majority.
Judicial ethics require her to now recuse herself from any case involving the Trump administration. She has publicly thrown any presumption of impartiality out the window.
Ps. Any time someone like Sotomayor feels the need to tell you how wise they are, you can be pretty certain they are anything but.
No. Any prosecution will not even mention her op Ed. There is no case to be made as to her speech. She would be charged with being in the US on an expired visa and for that she will be deported. She's absolutely being prosecuted for her speech. If not for that then for what? The visa revocation is part of the prosecution and was done because of that op-ed.No. Any prosecution will not even mention her op Ed. There is no case to be made as to her speech. She would be charged with being in the US on an expired visa and for that she will be deported.
As to her actual op Ed; I hear it is much better in the original German
And I did read as much of it as I could stomach. Nothing really offensive in it to me beyond the same tired tropes and juvenile stupidity. Israel committing “genocide”, “crimes against humanity “, starving civilians. The kind of usual tripe you see from a early 20s something lib college student who takes a few poly sci classes and decides that they are smarter and more virtuous than everyone else and proceeds to tell everyone so. I was there myself at that age and I am embarrassed to remember the self righteous stupidity I spouted at every opportunity. The visa revocation is part of the prosecution and was done because of that op-ed.
German? Yeah you didn't read it.
For it to have been funny there would have had to be a small semblance of validity to the comparison. Now go watch Life of Brian and refresh your comedic chops. That was a JOKE

It's pretty benign, and certainly nothing to warrant the actions taken against her.And I did read as much of it as I could stomach. That movie has a scene that got even funnier for me after I learned some trivia. The story goes for the Biggus Dickus scene Palin started improvising and started cracking up the guard extras that were not supposed to be laughing which merely had Palin go harder. For it to have been funny there would have had to be a small semblance of validity to the comparison. Now go watch Life of Brian and refresh your comedic chops.
You have no clue what Trump knows and doesn't know. It's so comedic when you self-appointed know-it-alls think you know more than Trump.Trump is neither smart enough nor informed enough to be arrogant about it, embarrassing himself about it when he claims he knows better than anyone on a myriad of issues.
