Is waking up in middle of night with heart racing a sign of Sleep Apnea? Last couple of weeks it happens about every night or could it be anxiety related? Hopefully I wont be in ICU by the time you get to this message...😳
I had this happening about 1-1/2 to 2 months ago. Had a lot of stress at work with a new GM being a giant tool bag by continuously threatening employees, including me. Three weeks ago today, I went to the ER with chest and left arm pains and hand and finger numbness. The next day I put in my 2 weeks notice.

Be careful and make sure to take care of yourself because no matter how much they tell you they care, your employer only cares about you for the money you make for them. I have seen it since I put my notice in. The former owner, who still works there, that I had worked with for 12 years never called to discuss how I have been or to wish me well.

Showed a lot to the character of him and his wife.

Did you consider forcing him to fire you instead of resigning? A small recourse, but you could ride his unemployment for a bit. Don’t think I’d of taken kindly to someone “threatening” me at work, especially a place I’d been for 12 years.

You’re 100% right about employers only caring about their profits outside of some smaller sized places. Saw it my whole life where they randomly downsize kicking someone to the curb for no reason outside of a quarterly financial statement. One of the worst things that’s happened recently was when the courts started giving companies the rights of an individual person.

I don’t want to be fired. I wanted to stand my ground and fight back. I tell my kids to stand for what is right and I will do the same.

I worked in Tennessee and the main plant was in Texas. By threatening I mean he would take you to HR over minor things then try to gaslight you into making another mistake.

He legit had HR present me a form to sign stating that I called someone “Judas” and to “grow some balls”. Which I did and got wrote up for. In the write-up he wanted me to sign it stated that and that I and my detailing department would provide 600,000 lbs (steel) of jobs to the shop every month which we had no control over, sales did.

I was labeled a malcontent because I wouldn’t sign. In the 25 year history of the company that had happened 2 months total. So I refused to sign it because he would use it to have the grounds to have me fired. We didn’t have that much weight on the entire detailing schedule.

It worked out because I am getting the vacation owed. Plus, others in the company and I got him investigated for mental and emotional abuse. He was fired 2 days later.

I saw this today on X. Enjoy
Wonder who wrote this!!

Lol. What a ridiculous stat to promote, and almost certainly something Butch came up with himself. There are few active coaches who couldn't lead three mid-majors and a P4 program (that will eventually fire them) to at least two bowl games given 3-4 seasons at each stop (especially if two of those came after taking over for highly successful coaches).
