My assumption is that you are concerned about buying medicines manufactured in other countries as you think it will somehow be tainted. I do not disagree to a point in that should we become less than friendly with... say... India, that all the medicines sent here could be laced with poisons. (And they could be very subtle poison that wouldn't generate an immediate cessation of import). What I find interesting is that it seems you believe the majority of our medicines consumed come from here in the USA, and I would wager that is way off. Medicine is no different than stuff at the Dollar Tree. But India's production facilities are a far cry form the streets of Tijuana.Read backward in the conversation. Buying it on a street in Tijuana wasn't far from what we're discussing.
Not so much. I'm fairly aware of where medicine sold in the US is made and that the huge majority of pharmaceuticals made overseas is good. The suggestion I had initially replied to was to 'let Americans buy from anywhere in the world' to keep costs down. 'Anywhere in the world' includes a home lab in Tijuana or Holston Hills. I mentioned the countries I did because I know there has been poisoning from adulterated or fake medicine there. My point was that we need the FDA or an equivalent to help ensure the quality of our medicine and also food.My assumption is that you are concerned about buying medicines manufactured in other countries as you think it will somehow be tainted. What you described certainly isn't intentional market manipulation. The problem is that he didn't simply implement a bad policy and later make a correction as you describe. He spent the better part of two weeks changing direction, almost daily. It's definitely a rationalzation explaining it in that manner, but as I said it will be ok nowThere’s no rationalizing. He implemented a horrible policy. It was obviously going to fail. So he started walking it back.
Calling that market manipulation is a joke. Focus on the valid areas of attack.

To me, transgender men competing in women’s sports is the PERFECT litmus test for basic intelligence.Typical Maga response. Throw out a few insults answer no question make false claims
I agree with you Tsar but let's be fair as I try to see all sides. The Trump haters can put together a similar thought regarding Trump's comments in an ABC interview where he insisted that the words/letters MS13 really were tattooed on that scumbag's knucklesTo me, transgender men competing in women’s sports is the PERFECT litmus test for basic intelligence.
Would you vote for someone who believes the earth is flat for President. Because believing someone with a Y chromosome can become a woman is same level stupidity.
