So….last night we’re outside watching TV. It’s around 10. We hear a coyote and a ruckus that sounds like a fight just below the fence in the back. I hit the lights, grabbed a shot gun and got ready to blast a MFer. When I got there I had a shot but couldn’t be sure it was a coyote so I didn’t take it. (Not murdering a pet by mistake) as my vision adjusted to the dark just beyond the light I started to make out 3-4 deer. All looking at me. As I was looking at them they all began to stomp a from hoof. They were thinking “we’re going to kick your ass too” and I was thinking “aww how adorable you guys are”.

It turns out, according to the neighbors, the deer jump into their small fenced in backyard to have babies and my dogs help keep the coyotes away by barking. When they do come the deer only have to defend that small area between us.

Now that I know this the deer will have help defending that area. My new camera will be here Friday.

That is all.
