It could be a way to get things like software and pirating of IP on the table. Or addressing government subsidies that cost American jobs. Movies are stitched together from components that can be produced all over the place. It’s not at all like with tangible parts being created such as in auto assembly. There are pieces that never make the final cut. There’s b-roll and stock footage.

I don't disagree with a lot of what you said, but this election was as close to the "Giant Douche vs. Turd Sandwich" as I have seen. It had to fall one way or the other, so at least some appreciable quantity of voters (including myself) looked at the candidates' positions (or at least, campaign positions) their top individual issues as tiebreakers. The border security/immigration issue was what tipped the scale for me.

I can't imagine the alternative clown performing any better, but in all honesty, that's an admittedly low bar at this point.

The issue is that news from the United States always flows out and people see our problems. The Nazis and Japanese totally underestimated the USA in World War 2 because of how our media and citizens work by showing all our weaknesses and downplaying our strengths.

Most nations do the opposite. China controls its media and flow of information (and frankly, it has been proven that they disperse pro-Chinese agendas into foreign media including our own). USSR did the same thing. Nazi Germany did the same thing, etc.

USA somewhat does it but never as efficiently as others.

That second paragraph isn't accurate. Our media tends to emphasize our strengths and gloss over our weaknesses. You should know that, living in the absolute greatest and freeest country ever with the biggest and best of everything except when it's not it's because we didn't want it anyway and anyhow you get the idea.
